Title I Communications

Title I Reading Night will be held on Tuesday, March 16.
Come enjoy a free spaghetti supper in the new cafeteria
and then enter the elementary hallway to enjoy reading activities with your child.
Your child will receive extra credit for your attendance at reading night.

Little Panther After School Tutoring Club is held every
Wednesday immediately after school until 4 p.m. 
You must send a note stating that your child has permission to stay.

What is Title I?

Title I is a federal government program that serves millions of children in the United States each year. Your tax dollars contribute to this fund.

The purpose of the Title I program is to provide additional help and support in math and communication arts for students who are not performing at or near their grade level.

Program Goal:
The goal of the program is to bring children to grade level in one or two years.

Program Features:
The program offers additional teachers and assistants;
extra instruction in the communication arts of reading, writing, speaking, and listening;
and a variety of teaching methods, materials, and the use of computers.
Parent workshops provided by Title I staff are offered throughout the year.

After school Panther Homework Club is every Wednesday 3:00 - 4:00.
Small groups or individual tutoring will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.
